Photo - Day 18: REAL SOLUTIONS, not resolutions! Repetition is the key to creating a routine which is not the same as a schedule. Your days will be different, but what you do on a daily (or weekly) basis must remain consistent. Your schedule can change, however, the discipline to stay on track with your goals (eating healthy, exercising, studying, working on your business, spending quality time with your loved ones) must not be compromised just because your schedule changes. Tip: Identify your routine. What will you do on a daily and/or weekly basis that aligns with the goal you set. What will you be uncompromising in doing repeatedly so that you make real progress on your goals.

Full moon rising AND a partial lunar eclipse while we practice Yoga and Meditation on the beach! This is a "bucket list" experience that you must have. ALL levels are welcome to join us and practice restorative yoga and meditation while the full moon rises on beautiful Hollywood beach. This special session will be led by Miriam Amselem who has over 25 years of Yoga and Meditation experience. You will practice in the most beautiful setting by the ocean and will be relaxed and rejuvenated.

Beware - make sure the person is a nutritionist (with a degree) - not a health coach etc. Nutritionists are professionals who design specific plans for each person based on their health and lifestyle - and most of us will even ask to see your blood work before we start working with you in order to assess your health. That's the difference when you hire professionals.

Your standards that are set in black and white and represent what is acceptable and allowable in your life and what isn't. A lack of standards will cause you to slip into behaviors and actions that take you further from your goals, impacts your self-esteem and reduces the quality of your life. Tip: To assess if you are being your BEST self, create your Personal Standard Statement by assessing what have you been tolerating from yourself and others that keeps you from being your best. Complete this declaration: "From this day forward, I will no longer tolerate, engage in or allow...."

Tip: Give yourself credit for what you've done so far that puts you one step closer to your goal. Don't discount your actions, no matter how small it may seem to you.

It's hard to focus on your future and make forward progress when you keep hanging on to negative emotions. Tip: If you still harbor feelings of disappointment, anger and blame, now is the time to release them. By doing so, a weight is lifted and you can put your energy and efforts into your goals. Releasing could require forgiveness, finding the lesson inside from the situation and/or taking proactive action to move on.

You need to be able to encourage yourself and one of the ways to do that is to have a personal mantra. It can be your favorite quote, proverb or any phrase that lifts your spirit and fills you with confidence. And it all starts with choice. Tip: Create your personal mantra, write it down and commit to saying it several times a day.
